Recently, WH-STEEL's summer water-based team-building activity – the kayaking competition – has concluded successfully. For the wonderful highlights, please read on! WH-STEEL deeply understands the principle that "a balance between relaxation and focus doubles efficiency". Instead of being busy in the office all day long, it's better to engage in a summer water-based team-building activity where we "dance with the water" and showcase our vitality amid the heat waves! During the Great Heat (one of the 24 Solar Terms in China), the sun blazes like fire, yet "relief from heat originates from the heart" – this is precisely the perfect time to sweat it out and unleash our passion!
Kayaking is not just a test of physical strength, but the ultimate challenge of team collaboration!
👉 Team Synergy Upgrade – In two-person kayaks, only when paddling rhythms align and synergy soars can you move forward at top speed. A slight misstep might lead to a "whirl of love’s magic" (a playful way to describe spinning off course)!
👉 Activity Highlights – Professional coaches provide guidance, so even beginners can instantly become "water experts"; racing, water gun battles… it’s all about the thrill!
👉 Joyful Battle – Have a "friendly match" amid splashing water, and of course, there’s a "cool gift pack" (warning: water splashing ahead! 💦)
Amid laughter and sweat, we gained:
✔ Cohesion: From fumbling chaos to perfect synergy, the team is like "comrades on the same boat"!✔ Breakthrough Power: Teammates afraid of water also bravely got on the kayak – challenging oneself is in WH-STEEL people’s DNA!
✔ Healing Power: The water glows golden under the sunset, and stress and worries all drift away with the waves~
As the Great Heat arrives, the three autumn months draw near, and the "Linzhong" lunar month ushers in the transition of midsummer. Today marks the Great Heat, the 12th solar term among the 24 Solar Terms, the last solar term of summer, and also the hottest period of the year. It coincides with around the "Zhongfu" (the second phase of the three "Fu" periods, the hottest days in summer) of the "Sanfu Days" (the three hottest periods in summer), making it the time of the year with the highest temperature and strongest sunlight. During this period, all living things thrive and grow luxuriantly, yet the high temperature and humidity can easily make people feel tired and lose their appetite.

Opt for Light and Mild Diet
During the Great Heat (one of the 24 Solar Terms), people tend to suffer from "bitter summer" (a condition characterized by fatigue, poor appetite, and general discomfort due to extreme heat). It is recommended to eat more foods that clear heat and relieve summer heat, such as mung beans, winter melon, lotus seeds, and bitter melon, while reducing intake of spicy and greasy foods. Weihao recommends a bowl of iced mung bean soup for you—it relieves summer heat and tastes delicious!
Never Neglect Heatstroke Prevention and Cooling
Avoid going out at noon. When going out, wear a sun hat and apply sunscreen.WH-STEEL’s warm reminder: Carry heatstroke prevention supplies such as Huoxiang Zhengqi Shui (a traditional Chinese herbal medicine for relieving summer heat-related discomfort) and Fengyoujing (a topical herbal oil for relieving dizziness, mosquito bites, etc.) with you in case of emergency.
Maintain a Regular Schedule
As the saying goes, "Skip the noon nap, and you’ll crash in the afternoon." A proper noon nap can relieve fatigue. Avoid excessive cooling at night—it is advisable to set the air conditioner temperature above 26°C to prevent "air conditioning sickness" (discomfort like headaches, sore throats caused by prolonged exposure to cold air from air conditioners).
Exercise Moderately
Choose to do gentle exercises such as walking or yoga in the early morning or evening. Avoid strenuous exercise, which may lead to dehydration. Replenish water in a timely manner after exercise—drink light salt water or electrolyte drinks in small, frequent sips.

✅ Only with a Unified Goal Can We Move Steadily and Go Far — Just as kayaking requires a consistent rhythm, the team in work also needs to strive toward a common goal.
✅ Trust and Cooperation Are the Keys — A mistake by any team member may affect the overall speed; only by trusting each other can we move forward efficiently.
✅ Face Difficulties Head-On and Surpass Yourself — Faced with unknown waters, everyone overcame their fears and bravely took on the challenge. This is exactly a reflection of WH-STEEL people’s courage to strive and explore.

The one-day kayaking team-building activity came to a successful end in the afterglow of the setting sun, yet the team’s passion and cohesion continue to endure. In the future, WH-STEEL Group will keep organizing more diverse and colorful team activities, allowing everyone to grow through challenges and achieve win-win results through collaboration! Ride the waves and move forward with united strength! Go, WH-STEEL people!
